All Settled in!

So here is our new home that is finally pretty much all put together minus the girls rooms because I already posted those and don't want to bore you to death! So these are pictures of the family room, dining room, kitchen, entry way, laundry room, hallway, guest bath (Elka and baby bathroom), and master bedroom. Yes that is Elka at the end of my bed catching her z's! Amber and Zach we miss you and wish you were here to be with us when the baby is born:) and no there will be no skyping during the delivery! Can you imagine that? But maybe by the time we have our 3rd baby you can be in the delivery room with me Amber. If you are up for that! Miss you both!

Bike TIme

The last few weekends Andrew and I have spent our time having a blast with our "only" daughter as of now:) We have taken her to several different parks and day trips to really enjoy HER! I am hoping to last past this weekend so we can take her to downtown Sac and Fairytale Town. My family thinks I am going early because I am sooo slow! But I am not buying it! Again, who knows. I am not in a rush!

Pregnancy Update

So pregnancy is almost over!!! Went to the doctor last week and he said that the babies head is down and that she could be here anytime. My due date is May 6th, but I am predicting May 10th. I don't know maybe not. Elka was 2 days early so maybe I will go early but again who knows! She comes when she is ready. I have been having contractions for several weeks but nothing to serious. I go back to the doctor Thursday for my 38 week appointment . We are so excited we can hardly stand it. Our new home has been so wonderful because we have room!!! Our old house was our little starter house with tons of work. We walked into this home with everything already updated and painted and beautiful! It was my taste completely. Like I picked it all out myself! Thank you God for all your blessings! Andrew and I are so happy to be settled and welcoming our newest addition! We will for sure update the blog as soon as she arrives, well maybe not until a few days later!

Girls Rooms

Amber this is for you! I wanted you to see the babies room but Elka really wanted me to do show you her room too! She loves it and has so much more room and light from her big windows so she can be a little artist! Now all we need is the baby girl!

What we've been up to

Elka at her Easter Party!

Life has been pretty crazy in our world. We finally moved into our house about 2 weeks ago. It has been really tough moving while being so pregnant! If anyone knows me they know that I am a worker bee! I can go and go and just not stop. Reason why I love running so much:) But being this pregnant, uh, not so much! I am not as fast and actually pretty funny to watch. I actually have to sit down and rest while others are working around me. Me rest, does not make sense.... I am a one who loves to get in and get the job done. Not this time! We are finally pretty much settled and the house has been a huge blessing to our family. Our other home was very tiny with no room for us to grow. We now have the room to expand our little Christensen Clan. Also we moved across town, which is really strange. I have always been on the North end. I have to say living down the street from the Racquet Club is a major bonus for me! So yes it has been super busy trying to get the babies room all set up and ready. Speaking of baby, I am ready for her to be here! I am now over 35 weeks. Let the countdown begin! Elka needs a buddy! Elka has been doing great with the whole move. She has had to be very patient while we set up her big girl room and all her toys. She is ready for the Easter bunny! Kids are so much fun. Andrew and I are like to giant kids who love being parents. It is not an easy job, but with all of the training I have been given by my wonderful mother who is an expert, it seems to come pretty natural to me. Thanks mom! Now that I am a mom I have learned to truly appreciate my mom and I see how much love a mother can have for a child and it kind of makes me melt:)
